The Heavenbound James Gang has been singing gospel music for many years. The members of the group have changed from time to time but it has always been a family based singing group.

Changes come and people go, but the purpose of the group has always remained the same: Spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through the spiritual power of music and song.

At present the group consists of Obby James, his wife Kathy and Obby's daughter, Cheryl (James) Roop, and Cheryl's husband, David "Odie" Roop. Our greatest desire is to lead others to Christ and see their hearts and lives changed by the Word of God and the power of the blood of Jesus Christ.
